Surgical treatment of intramedullary spinal cord ependymoma

Analysed 29 patients operated on for intramedullary spinal cord ependymoma. Totally ependymoma was remote in 12 patients, subtotally — in 9, partially — in 8. After 2—4 weeks in 11 patients neurologic status ameliorated, in 13 — without changes, in 5 — became worse. The postoperative result in great deal depended of neurоlogic deficit before the operation.Downloads
