Brain posttraumatic abscesses are among the most severe pyoinflammatory complications of open craniocerebral trauma. We have analyzed 20 verified cases of brain abscesses in children with various craniocerebral trauma. Schoolchildren predominated among them. In order to improve diagnostics patients with symptoms of spread and focal meningoencephalitis have to be thoroughly checked up with computer tomography. The most effective method of surgical treatment of brain abscesses is their total ablation with capsule.References
