Efficiency of nutrition support in acute period of severe cranio-cerebral trauma

The results of schemes application of early enteral and parenteral nutrition in hypermetabolic stage in 166 patients with severe cranio-cerebral trauma are presented. The patients, who received early parenteral nutrition — amino-acid mixtures and lipid emulsions, enteral — Berlamin mixture showed less metabolic stress, earlier neurological recovery and homeostatic indexes normalization.
