Topographical and anatomic principles of microdiskectomy for lumbar disks
Keywords:
lumbar disc herniation, microdiscectomy, topographic anatomical relationshipsAbstract
The topographical and anatomic comparison of dependence of localization of sectional roots in relation to intervertebral joints, arcs, and intervertebral disks is conduced. The most typical disposions of lumbar disk herniations in relation to the disk in axial and sagittal planes are investigated. Microdiskectomy technique for lumbar disk herniation is circumscribed. The knowledge of anatomic parities of disks, roots, variants of disposion of intervertebral disks has allowed tominimize access, reduce displacement and operational injury of nervous structures, and increase labour rehabilitation of the patients.
