Epilepsy as the causal factor of a secondary craniocerebral trauma
Keywords:
epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, information systemsAbstract
Secondary scull injury as a cause of epileptic seizures is encountered in 0,02 cases per 1000 people of population, what is more in 34,8% of cases middle-major and major scull traumas are detected which shows severity of traumas received after epileptic seizures.
A thorough differential diagnostics is needed while assessing the character of the cerebrum brain traumatic injury, when underestimating the mechanism of trauma, history data, neurology and X-ray surveys the scull injury is not diagnosed, but a condition after epileptic seizure is determined. This leads to a wrong observation tactics of the patients of this category.
Computing information systems, to a great extent making objective the received data, foster the right diagnosis making, prescribing the treatment, and by this make better the quality of giving medical help to the patients with the second scull injury caused by the epileptic seizure.
