Myelipathy at a scoliosis

The work presents the analysis of myelopathy clinical manifestations in 71 patients having severe form of scoliosis (dysplastic, congenital and in neurofibromatosis group). In most patients significant disorders of motions, sensitivity, trophicity and pelvic organs functions were observed. At the preoperational period corrections with Milvoky jacket during 6—12 month were performed what permitted to decrease curvature at 15—25 degrees and to reach regress of neurological manifestations. The final stage was correcting operations which increased scoliosis correction and stabilized pathological process. The regres s of neurological manifestations was reached in 68 patients.
