Abstract

Recent studies have shown the clinical significance of the detection of traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH-T) in the primary scan using computed tomography (CT) after traumatic brain injury. As a result of various studies made possible to show the analogy between nature traumatic SAH and aneurysmal SAH reasons pointing in favor of therapeutic approach to patients with T-SAK similar of patients with spontaneous SAH.

The review evaluated the clinical significance of detection of T-SAK by CT after traumatic brain injury and given evidence of successful use of calcium antagonists nimodipina.
