Diagnostic and differential diagnostic of hydrosyringomyelia: literature review
Keywords:
gidrosiringomieliya, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, investigation methods and criteriaAbstract
From the viewpoint of the nervous system general pathology, hydrosyringomyelia presents a complicated pathologic process with a polydeterminant structure whose origin still remains not entirely clear.
The diagnosis and differential diagnosis of hydrosyringomyelia is in many cases cumbersome due to a wide clinical polymorphism, the existence of syringolomyelitic syndrome in other diseases, as well as similarity of numerous pathologic links.
Owing to the newly developed research methods, it became possible to detalise the symptomatology and extend the knowledge of this disease pathology.
