The main trends and forms of the Scientific organizing department activity of Institute of neurosurgery named after acad. A.P. Romodanov of Academy of medical sciences of Ukraine changed and have been perfected all the time as the Institute’s organizing role in neurosurgery service development increased. The Scientific organizing department took an active part in neurosurgical clinical departments wide net creation in all regions and many cities of Ukraine; the educational and professional training system for neurosurgeons and other doctors and medical students works successfully in a frame of training and information courses.
Every year the neurosurgical clinical departments activity is analyzed. The recommendations for specialized neurosurgical help are developed. The effective establishment of Institute scientific projects is arranged: scientific theme collections, methodical recommendations and informative letters are published, scientific conferences, congresses, scientific-practical seminars of Ukrainian neurosurgeons are held systematically.
The editorial office of «Ukrainian neurosurgical journal» is in a structure of Scientific organizing department. From its establishment in 1995 28 editions of the journal were published (8 of them under the title «Bulletin of Ukrainian association of neurosurgeons» and 20 numbers of «Ukrainian neurosurgical journal»), also 15 methodical recommendations, 2 monographies and 4 collections of Congress materials.
