thoracic spine, herniated discs, extracavitary approachAbstract
During the period from 1999 till 2005 years surgical treatment of thoracic hernias was carried out in 12 patients. At all patients lateral extracavitary access was used. In the nearest postoperative period pain reduction or disappearance was marked in 9 patients, conduct impellent frustration reduction — in 8, sensitivity improvement — in 10, improvement of pelvic organs function — in 4, reduction of segmentary and radicular frustration — in5. In2 patients neurologic semiology fast aggravation was observed, in 1 patient — aggravation of neurologic semiology was permanent.
