The lumbar spine epidural veins varicose is a gained disease, that reveals by internal spinal venous plexuses expansion. The varicose is characterized by absence of arterial blood shunting, epidural venous plexus expansion, pressure increasing and a plenty of a blood deposition. The varicose appears to be an independent process, or been accompanied by lumbar spine degenerative changes.
43 patients with epidural veins varicose were operated in the clinic.
The surgical tactics choice depends on varicose type and its clinical manifestations. Nervous structures decompression was the purpose of the intervention.
After surgical treatment in the majority of patients neurological status improvement was noted.
