The specialities of clinical and CT diagnosis in acute period of diffuse axonal brain injury
Keywords:
brain injury, diffuse axonal injury, acute phase, diagnosis, computed tomographyAbstract
Analysed are clinical manifestations of diffuse axonal brain injury. Described are three groups of its CT manifestations. Clinical and CT comparison revealed that DAI-specific CT manifestations do not depend on severity of injury. Described are specialities of diagnosis in combination of diffuse and focal intracranial injuries.
