Abstract

During last years a steady increasing of the population of patients with CNS chronic diseases (MS, PD) has been occurring worldwide. All these diseases are multifactor with possible including of autoimmune processes with course with a degenerative component.

The main parameter of course of CNS chronic diseases and also an efficacy of various methods of treatment is a level of disability connected mostly with loss of neurons and oligodendrocytes.

In this abstract preliminary data concerning the autotherapy with MSC induced into nerve ones in the patients with MS (3 persons) and PD (2 persons) at the Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of the AMS of Ukraine are reported.

In the patients with MS with a secondary-progressing course an efficacy of the therapy is pointed out as a result of the MSC induced into nerve ones transplantation performed, although this disease is from the category of a difficult prognosis. The data obtained allow us suppose that this method slows down a progressing of the disease and probably results in processes of remyelinization. After the transplantation in the patients with PD a decreasing of symptoms and a stabilization of conditions are observed in absence of intake of the pathogenetic therapy.

Thus, the autotherapy with MSC induced into nerve ones might be a therapy of choice for patients with MS and PD.

The usage of MSC as a source of pluripotent stem cells allows us to overrun the barrier of a tissue immune incompatibility and to solve the ethic problems.
