Abstract

The pecularities of the topography and microsurgical anatomy of the petroclival meningiomas with sub- and supratentorial growth have been investigated on the basis of 74 operations of such tumors and 7 morphological preparations of a brain with such tumor from the nonoperated died patients. Three variants of the tumor location and two type of the tumor growth behavior as to the surrounding structures have been determined.
