Abstract

The contemporary diagnostics methods and treatment of intramedullary spinal cord tumors are alighted. Underlines, that a radical resection is choice method in cure of intramedullary spinal cord tumors. One of important auxiliary methods in surgical treatment of intramedullary neoplasms is electrophysiological monitoring. Future in surgery of intramedullary spinal cord tumors consists in improvement of surgical engineering and intraoperative monitoring, that will enable considerably to decrease a risk of postoperative neurologic deficit appearance.
