Abstract

Efficiency of glue composition “Sulfakrylat” for liquorrhea prevention and treatment at surgical treatment of parasellar meningiomas was studied. Glue composition “Sulfakrylat” was used for plastics of dura mater and it’s defects, anterior cranial fossa, ethmoidal and frontal sinuses for prevention of patients’ condition worsing in posteoperative period. 34 patients with parasellar meningiomas and different histological structure were examined. We proposed methods for intraoperative prevention of complications using glue composition “Sulfakrylat” (JSC “Federal Research and Production Center “Altai”, Novosibirsk, Russian Federation). High effectiveness of glue composition in liquorrhea surgical treatment and prevention at paracellar meningiomas was shown.
