Abstract

Technical peculiarities of transsphenoidal interventions based on experience of 121 procedures at 107 patients with pituitary adenoma, secreting ACTH, are described. Unilateral transnasal paraseptal transsphenoidal approach was preferable. Permanent clinical remission was achieved at 83 (77,6%) patients.
